The Cure's 'Trilogy' -- Playing at a Home Theater Near Me!Modestly Speaking...
To some, the words "home theater" might instill images of a television akin to the broadside of a barn, speakers larger & pricier than a coffin, with an amplifier more powerful than that of a nuclear power station. While components like I described might be nice to have, the notion that home theater must be completely over the top is more fantasy than fantastic. For some, it's possible to get an entire setup for less than $1000. For others, like me, a bit more will be spent.

Needful Things
To get the ball rolling, all you really need are a video source (VCR or DVD player), something to display it on (TV), something to process the signal (surround receiver), and speakers through which to hear those signals; count on six, including a sub. Want to see how I did it? Here's my setup. >>
